1. All players be at the course a minimum of 20 minutes before their
designated tee time. At this time you will be given team scorecard and final
instructions.
2. The captain of the team
(first name on list) will be responsible for keeping his teams score and
turning in the scorecard.
3. We will be playing
winter rules (pick and place). No "Gimmies"
i.e. all putts must be holed out.
4. If weather is bad, the
tournament will be limited to 9 holes. It will be 18 holes otherwise. This is
subject to the decision of the rules committee.
5. You can win only one
prize plus a door price.
6. All players should tee
off on the special prize holes. Only the qualified shots should be used for
purpose of the team competition (see 7g).
7. To make this more of a
team event the following rules will be applied:
a) All players tees
off on hole no. 1, then play is as follows:
b)The captain select the best shot.
c)The player having the preferred shot
picks up his or her ball and cannot play the next shot.
d)The other three players places
(within a club length) of the best ball and play the second shot.
e)The preferred second shot is
selected and again the non-selected shots are picked up. The player with the
selected second shot cannot play. This process carries on until the ball is
holed.
f)The team score is the number of
"best" shots needed to get the ball in the hole.
g)The player successful in sinking the
putt will not be eligible to drive for the the team,
but everyone can drive on the special prize holes for the individual prizes.
g.1) The
player with the highest handicap on the team may drive on each hole regardless
if he/she was successful in sinking the put on the last hole.
h)Players with 18 or less handicap can only
use their drives equal to their handicap. However, players with 5 hcp or less can use 5 of their drivers.
i) Measuring devices not allowed.
8. All prizes will be
presented at the dinner which begins at 19:30 hours at ConocoPhillips' Base
(The Best Little Canteen This Side Of Dallas) Hans'
Place.
9. To ensure fast play Do not look for lost balls (which not are to be choosen).
